“Journey 2016”

2016... this is one year which I never wanted to end. But everything in life has the start as well as the end, so you just have to deal with it. Still, I think this 2016 year ended up so fast, isn’t it? It’s just a few hours left now for the New Year i.e. 2017. I really can’t believe that the year 2016 is coming to an end. So before the calendar changes and the year 2016 officially ends, I would like to look back at my journey of 2016 to reminisce and cherish all the memories that I have created, dreams that I have accomplished this entire year and say thank you for this life.

Here are the beautiful highlights of my Journey 2016 in no particular order:

  • PERFORMANCE at MUMBAI :: Rangsharda Auditorium, Bandra...

I had a great time performing here at my hometown, my home ground Bandra on 30 January 2016. This was right before my TY BSc IT internal exams where I nailed the both performance as well as exams.

  • LONAVLA | Travel Diary...

This one-day fun trip to Lonavla with my IT friends a month before the final exams turned out into the trip to remember.

  • FINAL YEAR IT PROJECT...

This project work also happened to be the part of my 2016 highlights because I myself created, designed and developed a website on my own as the partial fulfilment for my BSc IT graduation studies. I am so proud of this because I did it myself and I learned so much in the process.

  • GOT MYSELF FAVORITE MOBILE :: iPhone 6s Gold...

Thank you, mummy, for all the love and support! It is all because of you I got this!

  • GRADUATION IN 2016 | Childhood Wish...

It was my childhood wish to become a graduate in the year 2016 (my birth-date year). Is it a coincidence or something other, I don’t know! But I made this wish come true by passing all my BSc IT exams without any ATKT or Additional exam. In fact, I passed my final exams and pursued my BSc IT graduation with a distinction. This is like a punch to all the people who said to me that I can’t do it. I am so happy being an IT graduate and own that degree!

The first half of my 2016 was full of studies as it was my final year of BSc IT degree. Still, I managed somehow to do the other stuff I love, in the process. And I did both in styles.

  • KOLHAPUR | Travel Diary...

This 2 days trip to Kolhapur turned out to be unexpected. I didn’t know that it would be this much fun there as I just visited this place to meet God i.e. visit some temples and have my time with the God. But I ended up finding myself. There is a quote that I have written:

"Bhagwan se milne gaya tha,
Khudse milkar aaya."
in English
("I was gone to meet God,
But I came back finding myself.")

All in I visited five places during this trip Mahalakshmi Temple, Jyotiba Temple, Rankala Lake, Narsobawadi and Jejuri. It was great fun exploring Kolhapur with my love Canon 600D.

  • PERFORMANCE at MUMBAI :: Bhaidas Auditorium, Vile Parle...

I performed here for like 5 times; two times in the month of October and three times every day on 15, 16 and 17 November. I had a great time performing, well I always have but what made this performance more special and crazy is that I gave my final BSc IT board exams beside this place at UPG College, as this was my exam centre. So performing beside this college for these many times it was like celebrating my graduation and life every time I stepped on stage.

  • BHANDARDARA | Travel Diary...

This trip has been one of the amazing trips I have had in my life so far because it is always fun when you have your entire family with you. I truly had a great time with my family and it was really fun exploring the unexplored. We did boating at Arthur Hill Lake, Dancing at Clubhouse, the Pool game I played with my dad, the fun times and all the laughs that we had, etc and our stay at Anandvan Resort was just amazing and it was shit cold at night there.

  • I wrote and published my first ever Song titled “Journey of Life” on 21 October 2016. This is an English song. This song is very special and close to me and it basically depicts the meaning of life and its lifelong journey.

  • Wrote and published my first ever Dance Poem titled “I Dance, I Dance & I Dance!” on January 4, 2016. This is not just a Poem but an Anthem for every person who is passionate and is committed to this beautiful art form called Dance.

  • Wrote and published first ever Poetry in my Maayboli (mother tongue) Marathi language titled "थेंब आनंदाचे (पाऊस आला)" on July 8, 2016. This poem is a message to the Rains and the God of Rain due to the big problem occurred called Dearth since last three years in our state Maharashtra. The farmers were committing suicides; there was a lack of water everywhere, etc which made me do this as an Artist. And just after when I published this poem, the Rains started coming this year in full swing. This was indeed the drops of happiness I tell you! I am glad that I played my part and contributed something in this. Thank you Rains, keep coming and keep making us happy with your drops because... 'तु आम्हाला हवा आहेस' (we need you).

  • Wrote and published total 7 Poems this year in English, Hindi and Marathi language.

  • Wrote and published total 23 Blogs this year including 7 poems, 1 song and this blog post.

  • I started something special called "The Note Book". This is an online book released by me in which the pages of the book are published online day-by-day. So this is most probably my debut book that is full of notes, thoughts, lessons and life.

  • BECOMING A MEMBER OF GOOGLE+ CREATE...

When Google finds your Photography style and other art interesting; and you get an email as an invitation to be a part of their program. I became a Member of Google+ Create and also a Trusted Tester.

  • Getting a Verification tick-mark badge on Social Media...

One of my crazy bucket lists got fulfilled this year. I got verified on YouTube and Google+. This is like an award of appreciation for the art that you create as an Artist and share here on social media.

  • And many more amazing things that happened in this Journey 2016 that I am so thankful and grateful for this life!

For the coming New Year, I don’t want to make any Resolutions or something as I don’t like making a Resolution. But one thing is for sure that I’ll keep on doing the things I love as an Artist/Human; keep achieving my goals, keep having fun and living life. I just want to say thank you to this life and thank you to all the people I have in my life. I love you all so much!

I would like to end this blog by saying 'Bye-bye to 2016 – you were lovely' and 'Hello to 2017'. Just like stepping towards the New Year leaving previous year behind; let’s only take happy moments, good times and fun memories with us that made our life a great adventure filled with joy by leaving behind all the sadness, failures, sorrow and all the bad times we have had. I mean let’s just forget the sadness, take forward happiness and make a new start. Cheers!

P.S. – I have decided that this will be my last blog of "Years Journey". Happy New Year 2017 and I hope 2017 will be beautiful for all of us. Take care and Have fun! :)

“In A Dream I Meet Santa” - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

On a bed, I was sleeping,
Singing jingle-bell, jingle-bell in my mind,
For a Santa Claus to come and for my gift remind,
I didn’t know but I was dreaming.

The inner child in me wanted the gift,
And wanted to meet the lovely Santa along with his car rift,
So I kept singing the song continuously,
In my dream, I never thought I can be so silly.

With eyes being closed but mind being somewhere,
I was just waiting for the Santa to arrive early from the window here,
Along with a gift, to hear that Santa’s big laugh,
Oh, I thought it could be more than enough!

I was singing on & on but this time with a clap,
I am glad no one at home saw this and gave me a slap,
I see the Santa giving gifts one-by-one and coming by my house,
In this beautiful dream, I was so engross.

Then suddenly the sound of something,
I thought Santa has come in our wing,
My eyes got open and I started looking outside the window,
I realize very soon that I was dreaming and there’s no Santa from the snow.

Under the pillow, there was no gift,
The Santa’s laugh – HO HO HO,
I started to believe it’s just NO NO NO,
I then said Merry Christmas to the world, myself & the dreamy Santa and went back to sleep feeling my life a gift.

The Note Book by Ronak Sawant

You all know how I started my writing journey and discovered the writer in me. But do you know where this writing idea, the view of my blog was planned and designed; it was all done in the notebook. Yes, the Navneet Publications brown long notebook which the school students use. I had many of them which were full blank and half used in school, back in time. I have a couple of diaries but I hardly write anything in it. I prefer writing in my school notebooks which I still have with me. The feeling of opening the school notebook and the essence of writing in it is something different than the diary. I feel more of a student than a writer while writing in it. This is really good for any writer as you don’t have to pretend to be one holding that diary in a hand. Also, I don’t want to let people around me know that I am writing something, so the notebook plays its part in this I guess! I like to give people surprise by publishing my writing and not while penning it down.

The title ‘The Note Book’ has a deep story behind it which I would like to share. Each and every writing piece that I had written and published on my blog whether it would be a poem, a song and a blog itself is all penned down in the notebook first and then later in MS Word and published on a blog. So the title came from my habit of writing in the school notebook instead of a diary. Hence the name - “The Note Book”.

The Note Book is more than just a notebook for me. This is a part of me, my journey and life. This is most probably my Debut Book which I am launching and releasing online on the internet. All the pages inside of this book would be published day by day on its official Facebook Page and Instagram. My aim is to write 550 pages in The Note Book. This is not a random number but it has a special meaning as it is taken from the title ‘The Note Book’ itself, using some mathematics logic concept. Writing these many pages is the challenge that I think I have created for myself. When I will finish this own challenge I will proudly and happily say that “The Note Book is complete!”

The Note Book is full of notes, full of thoughts, full of lessons and full of life that will make you as well as me to think and change something, learn and understand life and so much more. With a mission to make a positive change, inspire and improve the world; hope ‘The Note Book’ will change some people lives.

If you want to be a part of this dream then please join The Note Book’s official Facebook and Instagram, so that we can live this beautiful journey together. Let’s make the world a place full of love, happiness, unity and peace. That’s my dream before I die I want to see people loving each other, hugging each other, smiling and being happy in life!

"The Note Book" is available here:

Thank you! :)

“Zindagi Ek Hi Baar Milti Hai...” - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

Zindagi ek hi baar milti hai,
Dil se jee le,
Khul ke jee le.

Dobara nahin milegi yeh zindagi,
Waqt hone se pehle karle isse dosti,
Waqt hone se pehle karle saari masti.

"A Child Forever"

Childhood is the root of our lives. The root which grows into a plant (young age) and then later into a tree (old age), as the time passes. I am 22 now and I am just into the plant stage. This plant stage is considered to be the most serious stage of life. This is the stage where most of the people fail due to some reasons and this is the stage which fades away the root stage of our lives... childhood!

But like a plant, I too feel my roots (the child in me) every day. And to be honest, I just love to meet that child in me because this child is the one who taught me how to live a free life without stress and worries. In fact, this child is the one who made me realise the real meaning of happiness that it exists in the little things of day-to-day life. Even though being a plant (young) now, I don’t find happiness in big things. This child is the one who made it so clear to me that love is the ultimate cure. The more love you give, the more love you will receive. Even though tomorrow when I will turn into a Tree, I will forever keep a child in me alive and will always try my best to meet my root (the child in me) every single day.

So here’s the one who is writing this blog, not as a young Ronak Sawant but as a child, Ronak Sawant and here’s to everyone who likes to meet & have kept the child in them alive:
Happy Children’s Day!

This is me when I was almost 5 years old. So many good memories when I was a child!

A child forever!

"Journey of Life" - A Song by Ronak Sawant

[Verse 1]
Life is a blessing and beautiful
Life is a gift and graceful
There’s so much to do
There’s so much to learn
So many places to go
This life is only the one
Forget about the earning
Just do what you love
Life is all about the living
So let’s live and together evolve

[Chorus]
Yeah,
I’m gonna walk,
this journey of life
I’m gonna live,
this journey of life
And I’m gonna breathe,
Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of life!

[Verse 2]
Life is a mystery and magical
Life is precious and practical
Everything happens here for a reason
Love, happiness and peace is a mission
Listen to the voice that is speaking inside
Follow your heart and enjoy the ride
Take that one step of your life and don’t be afraid to stay alive
Life is all about the journey so forget where you will arrive
Just live in the moment
Have fun and make it count

[Chorus]
Yeah,
I’m gonna walk,
this journey of life
I’m gonna live,
this journey of life
And I’m gonna breathe,
Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of life!

[Bridge]
Come,
Let’s go on the journey,
Let’s enjoy this journey,
Let’s live this journey,
Let’s breathe... this journey of life!
Come,
Let’s go on the journey,
Let’s enjoy this journey,
Let’s live this journey,
Let’s breathe... this journey of life!

[Chorus]
Yeah,
I’m gonna walk,
this journey of life
I’m gonna live,
this journey of life
And I’m gonna breathe,
Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of life!

Yeah,
I’m gonna walk,
this journey of life
I’m gonna live,
this journey of life
And I’m gonna breathe,
Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae Ae A A, Ae
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of
this journey of... life!

"Manzil Yahin Hai..." - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

Raasta kathin hai
Lekin namumkin nahi

Bhatakna toh tay hai
Lekin ghoom jana nahi

Dukh toh har pal hai
Lekin dil kamzor nahi

Zindagi paiso mein samaayi hai
Lekin khushi nahi

Dharta kyun hai musafir
Manzil yahin hai.

Dance gave me a confidence,
Dance gave me a voice,

Dance gave me a freedom,
Dance gave me wisdom,

Dance gave me an identity,
Dance gave me dignity,

"A Camera..."

A Camera...
can make you an Artist
can make you a Photographer
can make you a better Human Being
can also make you a Monkey

A Camera...
can make you Popular
can make you Poor
can make you a Star
can take you Far

A Camera...
can capture a Moment
can freeze Time
can make a Difference
can bring a Change

A Camera does nothing.
It is just an instrument.
You (the Photographer) do everything.
Be proud to be a Photographer!

P.S. - Happy World Photography Day!

"How I Discovered The Writer In Me..." - Ronak Sawant

Life is indeed a great discovery and learning in itself. Every day it keeps revealing myself to me with something or the other. As I strongly believe that there’s a lot more in me than I can imagine, I never ever actually thought that there’s this deep writer inside me that exists who loves to play with words. So this is a blog, a real story of how I discovered the Writer in me!

I was not a kid who was born with an amazing writing talent and also I never ever made or maintained any kind of diary/journal in my life that most of the writing lovers do maintain before publishing their writing work professionally. But yes, I was good at writing skills during my school days. Writing skills such as essay writing, story writing, letter writing, etc., I used to do very well in these.

I still remember a day from my school when in my 9th grade a teacher after reading my essay congratulated me in front of the whole class and decided to make me the monitor of the class right away. The essay that she gave in homework a day before; I don’t know what she found in it. But that was the time when someone recognised my writing skills for the first time. Luckily in my case, it happened to be our English Teacher “Mrs Menon”, who was actually our class teacher.

At that time I was not that matured and focused about life. I was just a kid who used to love dancing, playing with my friends and have fun. All in, I was just a carefree child. So the kind words of a teacher I took them as a compliment and I didn’t think more about it whether to start writing more such essays and develop/improve my writing skills. Then somewhere between preparing for my 10th std board exams, the writing skills in me slowly started vanishing away as I had to focus on other subjects too.

The life went by and kept playing its part. I passed my 10th std with flying marks. I entered college and got the admission in exactly the college which I dreamed of - Nationals College, Bandra. I took Commerce in junior college years and passed my 12th std with decent marks. Those two years spent studying Commerce were nothing but a big struggle. Accounts and Maths didn’t interest me at all and also the other subjects too. The only subject I found interesting in a syllabus was English and there was this Poem called “Don’t Quit” in 12th English Textbook which had some kind of impact on me that time. Soon I realised that Commerce is just not me. I found myself focused on life this time. At the same time the love of dancing started turning into a passion and later it became a part time profession. I started performing here and there. I started doing Choreographies. I used to be more in Rehearsal halls and Auditorium stage than attending a daily class lecture.

Being a self-taught, self-made Dancer; I never had any kind of formal training in dancing. I used to research online on the Internet about Dance, read articles, learn by watching YouTube videos and then do it in my own way. Then one fine day when I was researching late online, I got introduced to the word ‘blog’. So it’s my dancing love that introduced me to this beautiful word called ‘blog’. Simultaneously I was fascinated with another art called Photography, all because of dance. And I wanted to start Photography also. This was my another dream apart from the blog. A couple of years went by - living life, finding myself and of course dancing.

I decided to study B.Sc IT as a graduation degree. When I entered into the second year of B.Sc IT studies, I thought to give blogging and photography dream a shot. To be honest, I was actually bored with the IT studies load and pressure. And for this, I needed an escape plan. Dancing has always been there for me every time. So, somewhere during dancing, I decided to start blogging and photography. I decided to take that one step and ever since there’s no turning back.

I started this blog (ronaksawant.blogspot.com) exactly a month before entering the 20th year of my life on 15th August 2014 (an Indian Independence Day, that day I decided to be free). Yes, I started blogging when I was almost 20 years; pretty late though, I know! But that was the right time for me, I feel so. I published my first ever blog/writing titled “Who Am I?” on 20th August 2014. It took me like almost two weeks to write before publishing my first ever blog.

This blog “Who Am I?” is basically an introductory kind of blog and hence the title ‘Who Am I’.  But in real, it is more than a just introduction. This blog is actually divided into two halves but while reading these two halves are felt as one because this is the beauty of the blog. The first half is about finding your true self and following your heart. And the second half is a bit of introduction about me i.e. the Writer behind the blog. The best part about this first blog is that just after publishing it online here on blogger, I got like more than 100+ views just in a day.  To be honest, I didn’t actually think that I will be getting 100+ views for my first blog post on the first day. This was crazy and so is my blog and so is me.

This is how my Writing Adventures i.e. the Journey of my Writing started with a mission to inspire people, to make them smile or happy, to touch their heart, to bring some change in this world, voicing people to follow their dreams and find the inner voice, etc. So, this is how I discovered the Writer in me!

“The one step that turned into a dream come true,
An escape plan that turned into a great fantasy,
This is how I discovered the Writer in me,
And yes, it wasn’t that easy!”

P.S. - Watch the video celebrating 2 years of my Writing journey:

Thank You!

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY IN INDIA – RONAK SAWANT | My Perspective...

“Street Photography is not about taking photos on the street,
it’s about capturing the soul of the street.”
-Ronak Sawant

I am Ronak Sawant and I love doing Street Photography the most above all the Photography styles. I believe that Street Photography is not just an Art but it’s a way of life. After spending almost 1 and half years capturing photographs on street (well that’s my journey as a Photographer basically), I think it’s my responsibility as a Street Photographer that this Street Photography Art goes out to people in a right way. I mean the people should know what exactly Street Photography is all about and the way it is represented. It’s like if one person can’t take that one necessary step to bring that change; to educate or to showcase the real art then the scene will remain the same as it is. So this is why I am writing this blog sharing my experiences, my moments and my perspective on Street Photography in India, as I truly believe that one person can make a difference.

In India, people are not very much aware as in they don’t know that Street Photography is an Art and it’s a type of Photography style that exists. Even today if you carry any DSLR camera, go outside and capture photographs on Street, 99% of people will consider you a ‘Patrakar’ (a Reporter, Cameraman, etc). The incident which has happened to me many times and it still happens!

Street Photography by Ronak Sawant :: Mumbai, India.

Only a few people here in India hardly know that Street Photography is something that is related to Photography and it is a type of Art, just very few. Here in India people only know 3 types of Photography very well and that’s Fashion, Wedding and Wildlife Photography but when asked about Street Photography, it’s a big doubt! According to mentality here, Street Photography is just about capturing the beggars on street. You know it feels really sad when the Photographers themselves spread or pass out an incorrect knowledge or information about their own Art. So how can you expect the same from Non-Photography people? It’s not possible right!

So... What is STREET PHOTOGRAPHY?

According to me, Street Photography is about capturing the moments and collecting the soul of the street. This type of Photography is very different from all the other styles. Here you don’t have any Model from Magazine Cover to pose for you. You don’t have any Lighting set-up, the only light you have is the nature. You don’t have a Studio set-up, no make-up, nothing. It’s just you, your camera, your vision and whatever is present at the street. Be it a Chai Tapri (a tea stall), Vegetable Market, a Man walking, a Girl smiling, etc. Everything is just real here, not like a studio. Here the entire street is your Photography Studio and you become the part of the street capturing it all.

My Experiences:

While doing Street Photography there are people who count me in as a Tourist who is probably seeing the city for the first time (according to them). This is a good sign basically. If you make them feel this then you are doing a good job. And then there are those who consider me as a Cameraman, the mentality I tell you!

There’s also one incident that I had with the Police Officers in Mumbai. I was exploring the streets of my hometown Bandra Pali-Hill back in April 2014 when I was having some hands on my friend’s Nikon SLR Camera. This is when a Police saw me with a Camera and called me. For a moment I got scared as I thought “Why he’s calling, Will he take off my camera or what?” You know, my Mum and Dad always told me to be safe while doing whatever I am doing with a camera outside. They also told me to stay away from Police and don’t hand a camera to them if a situation comes. Remembering these kind words of my parents, I walked confidently toward the Police. He asked directly “What are you doing with a Camera in this alley (street)? I just said I am capturing Photographs. (It was a silent street by the way). He then called another Police Officer who was standing some distance away from us and told him all the matter. The second Police Officer asked me to show my camera right away. This time I got very much aware and I showed him all the photographs that I had captured, holding a camera in my hand. And just for the sake, I even told him that "if you feel that I am doing something wrong then I will delete all the pictures if you want". Just when I whispered any other word, he was amazed at my Photography. He just said “Khoop chaan photos aahet pan aata Vidhaansabha Elections chi tayaari sarvikade shuru aahe mhanun hai aasa chalat nahi.” This is when I realised that its election preparations going on (though the elections were 3 weeks away) and the Police Officers are just doing their duty that’s all. Then they both said with care to switch off my camera and walk away from the alley as quickly as possible and do Photography somewhere else, not here. I said Thank You in return and left. This was certainly a good experience! A big up to Mumbai Police by the way! This is when I learned that “Agar Acha Karoge, Toh Acha Paoge” in English “If you will do good, then the good will surely come back to you.”

My Moments:

I remember each and every photograph that I capture and it’s behind the picture story too. Here is the image/picture that I captured near Khar Telephone Exchange a few months back while I was doing a Photo Walk there.

These 2 mans in this image were in their own world and so was I with my camera. As you can see, the Person 2 was giving a leg massage at a bus stop to Person 1. I saw this and captured it right away. You can see the expressions of Person 1 in this picture doing a gesture “Who is he? Why he is taking a photo?” to all the other people waiting for a bus. When this kind of moment arises while shooting, I just hate it because I had to explain to them what I am doing and what Street Photography is! I have done this many times, by the way, wasted my Photo Walk time and did an explanation.

Here is another image I captured back in 2015 while I was exploring the Streets of Dadar. I saw this beautiful old woman sitting by a roadside and I don’t know why but I wanted to capture her. So just when I focussed my lens towards her, she just did this ‘Namaste’ pose! This was one amazing moment!

"Pahaadon Se Pyaar..." - Ronak Sawant

Pata nahi kya hua hai mujhe aajkal,

Pahaadon mein apne aap ko dekh raha hoon,

Pahaadon mein apne dil ko mehsoos kar raha hoon,

Pahaadon mein jaise shayad khud hi ko dhoondh raha hoon.

Abhi toh yahin hoon main par dil hai kahin pahaadon mein.

Yeh pahaadon se pyaar hai mera yaa kuch aur...

"Abhi Toh Bohat Kuch Hai Baaki..." - A Poem by Ronak Sawant

Din aata hai,
Din jaata hai,
Rukhta nahi hai yeh kabhi,
Bas yunhi chalte rehta hai.

Zindagi ka dastoor bhi kuch aisa hi hota hai,
Jo kismat mein likha hain shayad wahi milta hai.
Waqt toh bohat hain humaare paas yahan,
Lekin uski chaabee apne haathon mein kahan.

Har pal yahan kuch na kuch hote rehta hai,
Din bas yuhin dhalte jaata hai.
Kabhi hai khushi toh kabhi hai gham,
Kabhi chehre pe hassi toh kabhi aankhein hai nam.

Kuch seekhle iss din se yaara,
Aayenge na aise lamhein dobara.
Rukhna mat itne dur aakar,
Abhi toh bohat kuch hai baaki mere humsafar.

The Step Up by Johnnie Walker | Photography by Ronak Sawant

“Photographs that captured right, speak infinite.”
- Ronak Sawant

Back in 2015, I did my first ever Professional Photography Work for India’s First Digital Mentorship Program – “The Step Up by Johnnie Walker”. The Step Up is basically a Talent Hunt Show which is also tagged as “India’s First Digital Mentorship Program”. This show thus aims to provide a platform to youngsters to showcase talent in Fashion, Food and Music. Mentored by the Mentors like designer Nikhil Thampi, chef Nikhil Chib and musician duo Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj of Midival Punditz.

The Step Up... A Reality Show in which I was the only Photographer and a younger Person among all the Step Up Team, Artists, Cast and Crew. I covered all the episodes, in general, the entire show that included Fashion, Food and Music. Thanks to Globosport for this opportunity. This was indeed a big thing for me as a Photographer because I always wanted to try something apart from Street Photography (the style I love to do). So, it’s a dream come true.

I know it has already been a year since the show and now I am publishing all the Step Up pictures. The reason because I was busy with my final year BSc IT Graduation studies that happened right after the shoot. So all the pictures I had captured I just have to save them into my PC as I had to focus on my last year of IT.

Also, even when I was shooting the show that time I was into my SY-BSc IT 4th semester exam phase. I even missed my 2 exam papers during the process as I had this shooting schedule and some Dance Performances in other cities outside Mumbai. But all thanks to my BSc IT coordinator teacher for understanding my dreams and letting me do what I wanted to do.

Finally, I’m all done with this BSc IT studies. Though the 6th-semester result is still yet to come, but who cares! So this is how I started doing edits of all the pictures I captured in 2015 right after my final year IT exams got over.

So here it is, The Step Up Photography Video. These are some of the best shots from the shoot all in the form of a video. I say it again, it’s a dream come true!

I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed shooting and creating it.

Here is the video:

“थेंब आनंदाचे (पाऊस आला)” - A Poem by Ronak Sawant
